Prior to joining Lewis Johs, Rob had his own practice handling Surrogate’s Court cases in Suffolk, Nassau and New York City, assisting elderly and infirmed clients reduce the expense of skilled Nursing Home care, and, whenever possible, assisting them in securing Medicaid health care aides while remaining in their own homes. Rob takes a special interest in Veterans and their families. He has volunteered at free clinics for Veterans, as well as participated in seminars regarding benefits that can assist veterans who need long term care.
Rob received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University in 1988. After graduating from Brooklyn Law School in 1991, Rob served as a Law Clerk for a New York State Supreme Court Justice in Manhattan. From there he worked for a large Suffolk County law firm where he was the head of their Trusts and Estates Department for several years before starting his own firm.
