Joseph Charchalis Obtains Pre-Answer Dismissal of Plaintiff’s Complaint

Lewis Johs attorney Joseph M. Charchalis successfully obtained dismissal of plaintiff’s complaint in favor of our clients, a school bus company and bus driver, in an action pending in Supreme Court, Rockland County.  The plaintiff, a bus matron, brought the action against both the bus company and the adverse vehicle.  The pre-answer motion successfully argued that plaintiff’s complaint and all cross-claims were barred by the applicable Workers’ Compensation statutes.
