Stephen J. Maloney Jr. obtains Summary Judgment in Bronx County

Stephen J. Maloney Jr. successfully moved for summary judgment on behalf of a New York energy company in a case where an elderly plaintiff tripped and fell on an alleged defective sidewalk. The plaintiff suffered significant injuries and brought suit against our client, our client’s subcontractors, and the adjacent homeowners. Stephen demonstrated that despite our client and their subcontractors performing work on the sidewalk in the vicinity of the plaintiff’s fall, the work did not cause the alleged defect. The Court agreed and dismissed all claims against our client.
