Our firm handles various practice areas including medical malpractice, general liability and civil litigation.
Duties of the litigation Paralegal would include:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial preparation including, but not limited to, draft pleadings, bills of particulars, assist in preparation of summary judgement motions, discovery demands/responses and motions
- File review and document inventory
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Utilize document management systems to organize and store case files
- E-filing
- Track pleadings
- Assist with Trial preparation
Requirements of ideal litigation Paralegal candidate:
- Paralegal Certificate is required
- familiarity with litigation experience
- Proficient in using document management systems and legal software with knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent proofreading and editing abilities
- Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail
- Schedule and manage depositions, hearings, and court appearances
- Friendly and outgoing
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new tasks

Salary: From $50,000.00 per year
