Job Description

Named in the 2024 edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” for the 13th consecutive year, recipient of the 2023 Top Workplaces by the Long Island Press, as well as the Long Island Business News Reader Rankings Best Law Firm (Overall) 2022, Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles, LLP is seeking a full-time billing clerk with at least 1 year of experience, preferably in a law firm.

Requirements of ideal candidate :

• At least 1 year of Billing experience (within a law firm preferably but not required)
• Successful candidate will be able to edit and generate invoices in all formats-paper, ledes and email. Extensive use of Microsoft Office products (i.e, Outlook email)
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of meeting deadlines
• Ability to communicate and work in a group as well as alone
• Capable of handling both private client accounts and corporate

Successful candidate should be friendly, energetic and have the ability to work alone and within a small group.

We are conveniently located on the corner of Motor Parkway and Veterans Memorial Highway in the pink glass building.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
