Shana Slawitsky is an associate with the firm who concentrates her practice in the litigation of medical malpractice.
Prior to joining the firm, past employment focused on insurance defense and medical malpractice matters. Shana received her Juris Doctorate from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2012. During law school, Shana participated in numerous pro bono clinics and internships, such as the Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Clinic and Long Island Housing Services. Her dedication to pro bono work earned her the Public Interest Fellowship Award. Shana has volunteered for the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project helping families obtain refugee status and come to the United States. She also participated in the Federal Clerkship Program under the Hon. Joseph F. Bianco in the Eastern District.
Prior to law school, Shana graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a degree in history.
