Sabrina A. Chancy is an associate with the firm concentrating in the areas of medical malpractice and general liability.
Sabrina received her Juris Doctorate from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. While attending law school, Sabrina interned with the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Sabrina also interned with the Honorable Randy Sue Marber of the Nassau County Supreme Court, where she assisted in managing the conference and trial calendar, conducted research on various complex legal issues, and drafted motion decisions and memoranda of law. Sabrina also worked for the Bankruptcy Clinic at Touro, during which time she assisted indigent clients with bankruptcy actions, which included preparing Chapter 7 bankruptcy petitions and assisting with hearings in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Sabrina earned the Clinical Legal Education Association Award and the Special Service to the Public and Community Award for her work in the Bankruptcy Clinic. While in law school, Sabrina was also a senior staff member of the Moot Court Honors Board, where she participated in Interscholastic Moot Court Competitions earning several awards, including a Best Oralist Award.
Prior to attending law school, Sabrina graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Communication. She later graduated from LIU Post, Long Island University with a Master of Arts in Political Science.
