Partner Brian Greenwood Obtained Defendant’s Verdict in Suffolk County Supreme Court

Partner Brian Greenwood obtained a defendant’s verdict in Suffolk County Supreme Court, following a ten day jury trial, on behalf of his client, a plastic surgeon.  The plaintiff alleged Brian’s client erroneously diagnosed plaintiff with an infected breast implant and needlessly performed surgery to remove the implant, resulting in to additional breast reconstruction surgeries.  The defense argued that plaintiff did, in fact, have an infection, the surgery was medically necessary, and the resulting reconstruction surgeries were not the result of malpractice.  The jury rendered a unanimous verdict in favor of Brian’s client.
