Summary Judgment & Dismissal of Complaint Obtained by John Horan

Senior Counsel John Horan obtained summary judgment and dismissal of the plaintiff’s complaint in a case involving a slip-and-fall accident pending in Supreme Court, Westchester County. Our client, an office supply distributor, rented a water cooler to a business where the plaintiff allegedly slipped and fell due to a leak from the cooler. John argued that the plaintiff could not prove that our client had notice of any leak and that our client satisfied its obligations pursuant to the contract between our client and the business owner. The Court agreed and dismissed all causes of action in the plaintiff’s complaint against our client.
