As a result of an Impartial Hearing, Lewis Johs attorneys were successful in obtaining a decision awarding afterschool services for 5 year old, S.A.  As a result, S.A. will receive research-based Applied Behavior Analysis every day after school as well as much needed Physical Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy.  S.A. will also benefit from the award of parent training and counseling to help understand the special needs of S.A. and to acquire the necessary skills for the parent to support S.A.’s Individualized Education Program.  The decision also directed that S.A. receive educational evaluations to properly assess and identify all of S.A.’s needs.
