Three Lewis Johs Partners Named in New York Super Lawyers 2009
Lewis Johs partners William J. Lewis, Frederick C. Johs and Michael G. Kruzynski have been included in New York Super Lawyers 2009. Published as a supplement in newspapers and magazines throughout the country, Super Lawyers lists “lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.” Super Lawyers lists 12 criteria as the bases for inclusion: “verdicts; settlements; transactions; representative clients; experience; honors and awards; special licenses and certifications; position within law firm, bar and or other professional activity; pro bono and community service; scholarly lectures and writings; education and employment background; and other outstanding achievements.” This represents the second consecutive year of inclusion for the three.
Mr. Lewis has more than 30 years of trial experience in a wide range of civil and criminal matters. His practice includes the defense and trial of cases arising from all areas of litigation, including claims of medical malpractice, environmental violations, product defects, municipal and premises liability, construction site accidents, vehicular negligence, insurance fraud, and bad faith claims. He has appeared as a medical litigation expert in the media and has lectured widely before law, industry and government groups.
Mr. Johs has represented clients in matters of significant exposure for over 25 years. He serves as senior trial partner in all areas of litigation, including medical malpractice, product defect, sexual torts, nursing home, construction, municipal and commercial litigation.
