We counsel our clients and advise that one way of reducing potential estate taxes is to include a properly drafted trust within a will. While many trusts are testamentary in nature, other types of trust agreements may also be created while the client is still living. In some cases, our attorneys create living trusts to produce significant estate tax savings. A living trust or revocable trust is created during the client's lifetime and is funded with all of the client's assets. |
